I’ve spent the last week off of work because of being sick. During that time, I listened to sermons but also jumped down the Balenciaga rabbit hole, and the only thing I gained was more questions. I am confused as to why there was such an outrage about the recent fashion brand’s campaign featuring child abuse when there was a public outcry about shutting down drag shows in schools the week before. (That’s an exaggeration on my part, but is it?)
How does the media choose what to be upset about? They glorify so much filth, but maybe Balenciaga was an extreme depiction of what’s going on to hide. One of the ladies at The View stated that the timing was wrong. What?! When is there right time to promote child abuse? Do they know there will be severe consequences if they do not pretend to be appalled? But on an average day, they are for the abuse of children. How can you have it both ways? The Balenciaga saga, in my opinion, only shows what has been going on in the first place. It’s not new, but they’re only brazenly parading it around.
I’ve spent days reading about this garbage only to come up empty-handed with information because the simple answer is, why is anyone shocked? The world loves Satan and his minions. He has control of so many people and is out to harm the most vulnerable of them all. The future of society is children being shaped by people who are being used as pawns to advance disgusting agendas. Anyone who tries to speak out against Hollywood’s abuses ends up dead or missing. I’ve read a glimpse of the child trafficking rings, and it’s the same thing.
I would like to believe things are being exposed and will change in the future, but the truth is that all recent events transpiring are only happening because they are caught in a firestorm. I am sure it will all blow over soon until the next scandal. Celebrities will keep their endorsements and pretend to be appalled until this is over. There will be no revamping or casting down by celebrities. There is too much money involved with their brands.
I’ve been stressed about money lately, but the more I researched Balenciaga out of curiosity as to what they were even selling the results I got were leather handbags that look like Lays potato chip bags or damaged shoes sold for thousands of dollars labeled “Limited Edition”. It made me thankful for my regular, everyday life because money definitely cannot buy happiness. This made me realize that the brand itself is not stupid, but the people paying for this garbage are. The brand is genius because they set the price knowing people would push it and wear garbage bags. They only move what there is a demand for because it is a business out to make money. Most Celebrities are so out of touch with reality they walk around with their noses in the air while wearing ridiculous outfits in the name of fashion. They’re being bought and sold, and they cannot afford to come forward with saying Hollywood is a cesspool. I read a new exposure this morning about the parent brand of Balenciaga, selling disturbing child dolls on their auction site.
Part of my problem is that you see these celebrities and want to believe in the best in people. However, there is no best in people, according to scripture. The heart is deceitful above all things. You grow up watching actors in funny movies or acting in such beloved roles that you cannot fathom them doing anything perverted. We set them up on a pedestal. There are a few celebrities I refuse to read about because I know if I dig too deep, I will not be able to watch my favorite movies anymore because all I’ll think is about the perversion of the people in them. I haven’t read too much about a few scandals because I’d instead turn a blind eye to it, but the reality is that these people are people. They are being used to promote an agenda and do not care about you, me, or anyone else. They are not heroes at all. They are sick and twisted individuals who are props and made their fortune sleeping their way to the top..
I am so confused about everything, but more things continue to surface. Hollywood is a dark place filled with pedophiles who do not care about morals. They only care about covering for themselves, and they’ve dragged so many people into it and threatened their livelihoods if they do not go along with the club’s members or what they do. Society has mocked God, fought to take him out of everything, and is now shocked at our state. It’s ok for children to have their genitals removed in the name of self-expression and to have drag shows and pride events for the whole family, but a photoshoot representing everything they are pushing is crossing lines. Is it because they realize the majority does not stand for those things? I think of Disney going woke, but nobody batted an eye for all the garbage they are promoting. Do they realize the gradual acceptance of perversion and pedophilia is being exposed? I don’t know. I cannot figure it out. The more I read, the more I keep coming back to what Paul says in his letter to the Philippians: “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” I don’t want to say I am fascinated by this because that is the wrong word. I think I am just confused about it all, but as a fellow blogger reminded me, “Satan roams about seeking whom he may devour”. He is on the prowl and out to destroy lives. He is out to steal joy, abuse children, and tear apart any form of godliness at all.
Hollywood is going to do what it is going to do. It’s been around a long time and has always prostituted its club members in the name of fame and glamor. The love of money is the root of all evil. Money allows freedom to buy the things you’ve dreamed of. It cannot buy happiness because the only source of joy can come from a relationship with the King of Kings. While money itself cannot be evil because it is only a tool, the love of money is the root of evil because it exposes the heart’s desires.
